Non-Toxic Etching: Coffee Lift and Soft Ground with Len Merlo and Lindsey Knipe

Saturdays, December 7 & 14, 10-4pm

Includes 12 hours of FREE studio time

In this course, students will create two small editions of prints from copper plates using soft ground and the coffee lift technique. Over the course of two sessions, students will have the opportunity to incorporate hard ground etching and acrylic sprayed aquatint into their work. The overall goal of this class is to introduce non-toxic alternatives into traditional intaglio printmaking techniques. No etching experience required!
