Frontline Arts has had an incredible support system of volunteers. They show up en-masse to help at workshops, demos, presentations, family days, and miscellaneous gatherings. They are the heart and soul of our family, and we would not be here today if it weren't for them.

INTERN
Frontline Arts seeks unpaid interns to work in the studios, utilizing skills necessary for studio work in printmaking, papermaking and book arts. These internships can be done for college credits, if proper channels are gone through at the student's university. Opportunities are also available to work in Administration with tasks related to the day-to-day operations of a small non-profit fine arts organization. Interns will work closely with the Studio, Program, and Executive Directors.
Candidates must be current college students or recent graduates, available 1-2 days per week for minimum of an entire semester (Tuesdays and Wednesdays are ideal for the Studio position) Ideal for Fine Arts, Studio Arts, Art History, Arts Management, Arts Education majors/minors; opportunities available for other disciplines as well. Must provide own transport to/from Frontline Arts or offsite locations. There are also opportunities to work remotely.
ADMINISTRATIVE
Candidates will assist in coordination and execution of all administration areas, including membership, database entry, fundraising events, exhibitions, mobile programs and outreach relationships.
The ideal candidates will possess excellent writing and research skills, experience with Microsoft and Apple applications, including Excel, database systems, and the Adobe Creative Suite. It is also beneficial to have some studio and art handing experience. Long-term/multi-semester engagements are possible for the right candidate. Studio use is available for interested candidates as well as one free workshop.
STUDIO
Possible areas of assistance include studio maintenance and safety upkeep, technical research, and equipment installation, as well as assisting artists in the studio and instructors for our various education programs.
The ideal candidates will have a strong interest in printmaking and/or papermaking, work well with their hands (and be mechanically inclined), and be able to work independently on complex studio projects. Depending on interest/skills, possible assistant teaching opportunities may be available. Long-term/multi-semester engagements possible for the right candidate. Studio use is available for interested candidates as well as one free workshop.
