Non-Toxic: Tetra Pak Intaglio Plates

In this workshop, we invite you to bring one 9x12" sketch to create one shaped intaglio plate using Tetra Pak containers (such as those used for boxed milk, soy milk, almond milk, etc.). We will provide instructions on how to make each plate at home and demonstrate the necessary skills for the process. You will receive the Tetra Pak plates and Hahnemühle etching paper. We will supply all the essential tools and Akua ink, allowing you to develop one image and produce a small edition of prints. All experience levels welcome!

Figure It Out!: All Level Figure Drawing - Session #1

Open to artists of all drawing levels, this class offers a welcoming, light-hearted, yet academic approach to decoding the human figure. Participants will draw from a live nude model in each session and loosen up with quick gestures, then move into several short poses (2 minutes and 5 minutes) as well as longer poses (up to 1 hour in 20-minute segments). Anatomy of the skeletal and muscular systems will be observed to aid in rendering the model’s shapes and emotive expression.
