A Printmaker's Journey: Quick Survey of Printmaking w/ Kath Yarkosky
Over the course of three weeks, you will immerse yourself in the world of printmaking. Each week, we will explore a new technique, allowing you to apply your artistic style and ideas to various print media. We will cover linoleum relief prints, drypoint intaglio on plexiglass, and screen print monotypes. Additionally, we will discuss the history of printmaking and highlight contemporary artists who incorporate print into their practices.
Weekly homework will be assigned, where each artist will develop their matrix for printing in the following class. This course includes three additional hours of studio use during business hours.
