Introduction to Artist's Books with Maureen Cummins

In this four-hour workshop students will receive an introduction to the basics of design, letterpress printing and binding. The instructor will begin by sharing her collection of handmade books by artists around the country. Students will then work on individual pages, using art/photos/writing of their own choosing to create a collaborative edition. Each student will leave with one hand-printed, pamphlet-bound book.
All experience levels welcome!
