This paper is made from the beaten fibers of military uniforms donated to Frontline Arts, as well as other natural fibers. The re-purposed uniforms provide a beautiful sheet of handmade paper with a unique texture.

Each sheet is one-of-a-kind and can vary slightly in thickness, texture, and shade. The paper can be custom made in various colors including military shades of tan, gray, green, and blue. Custom orders can also include smooth or rougher texture requests. It is excellent for silkscreen, relief, drypoint, graphite, charcoal, ink, and more.
To help better understand the paper descriptions:
17% indicates wool content. Beaten with 33% rag, 50% linter. Linter is the cotton fibers we add to uniform to make a stronger paper blend. The 33% is modern, community rag, and can be woodland camouflage (mostly green), desert tan, or gray Army Combat Uniform (designated on the items as ACU). Class A indicates dress uniform.
