Explore the art of building handmade archivalboxes -for storing artwork and books, gifting, or securing treasures-in this one-day, in-person workshop! Artists will learn tips, tricks, and techniques for building soft- and hard-cased boxes using simple tools, uncomplicated measurement techniques and unique variations of surface decoration. The perfect primer for more intricate box-building and book art workshops, this workshop explores the outer limits of containing art.
